How to Host Your Wedding at Your Home

If you’re still in the early planning stages, then enjoy our Photos

Family Business since 1989

Over the thirty years, our tents have graced manicured lawns, rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and wide-open vistas. We’ve taken everything our wonderful climate can throw at us and – we’re still delivering and erecting tents

What are some of the innovative ways you can embrace the uniqueness of a tented structure? Turning unsightly metal poles into stunning displays of lush greenery and lofty vines. Crafting an inviting tented entry fit for a grand entrance, creating softness with cascading drapery, bringing the outdoors in with live plants and trees, and setting the tone for your post-ceremony design with a collection of ceiling installations are some ideas for modifying your tented space. An assortment of whimsical decor, creative lighting, and custom flooring are characteristics that help to distinguish these weather-proof foundations to your wedding

How large a tent will I require?

All other tents require a clearance of between 5 and 6 feet around the perimeter to allow room for tie-downs and stakes.

Tents can be customized to almost any size, ranging from an evening Summer Ball dinner to of 1,000. If you’re planning to have both dinner and dancing within the tent, you’ll want to allow for between 20 and 25 square feet per person. For dinner only (without a dance floor), you’ll need between 18 and 22 square feet per person. For example, a tent for 200 people with dancing would require a 40’ x 100’ sail tent (with central poles).

Can I have open sides?

Yes – But use caution in windy conditions as this can cause problems. Replace any sides as they were erected.

Get creative with your surroundings

What types of lighting can you supply?

Selection of Festoon LED lighting with chandeliers / uplighters It is the client’s reasonability to supply safe and reliable mains electricity. For larger events, a qualified electrician to provide a mains supply into the kitchen tent. Contact your Caterer / Entertainment for their power requirements.

What types of flooring are available?

Matting nailed to suitable length grass Solid flooring that is ideal for hard standing. Solid flooring will not create level lawns as it follows the contours of the land this requires suspended flooring or scaffolding Solid flooring is ideal though there is an additional expense.

How long is the marquee hire period?

Normally we erect marquees on Tuesday-Wednesday or the Thursday before the event and dismantle on the Sunday, Monday or Tuesday after, if you have specific timescales that you require, please inform us, and we will try and schedule accordingly.

Tension pole tents—including sailcloth (or Sperry) and vinyl —have center poles that hold up the roof. They rely on a pattern of stakes and tie-downs to achieve stability, and also usually require less decorating. The poles and the fabric, especially for sailcloth tents, are beautiful in their own right, so the structures can be left as-is

Can I make last-minute changes to my hire? PREVIOUS

Within reason, changes to items such as furniture, colours etc can normally be covered, we try to accommodate, but this often depends on availability.
